A webhook is a randomly generated url address provided to all accounts for FREE. Interslack uses this (secret) URL to identify your Slack team or Discord server but also to add and delete feeds. To get a webhook click here for Slack or for Discord.

Discord webhooks are generated by:

  1. Clicking a text channel's gear (Edit Channel)
  2. Choosing Webhooks from the left menu
  3. Choose Create Webhook
  4. Copy the WEBHOOK URL
  5. Paste it in iNTERsLACK

A webhook will look similar to this example:

  • Slack, the easy way
    1. Have Admin or Owner role for your Slack team.
    2. Type in your slack team name (the subdomain) here:
    3. Then click on this link: https://.slack.com/apps/new/A0F7XDUAZ-incoming-webhooks
    4. Select the channel and select Add Incoming WebHook integration
    5. Copy the Webhook URL and use that below.
  • Less easy way
    1. Have Admin or Owner role for your Slack team.
    2. In Slack click your team then Customize Slack in the drop down
    3. (on the site) Select Configure Apps
    4. select Custom Integrations
    5. Select Incoming WebHooks
    6. Select Add Configuration
    7. Select the channel and select Add Incoming WebHook integration
    8. Copy the Webhook URL and use that below.

Submit a webhook. We will make you confirm the webhook works. Once the webhook is confirmed you wil be logged in for an editing session.
